Minimum Requirements
- Relevant Qualifications:
- A diploma or higher in Business, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, or a related field. A strong academic foundation will be necessary to discuss business topics with authority and credibility.
- Demonstrable Experience in Business:
- Applicants should have experience running or managing a business (include business names, portfolios, or relevant case studies if applicable). This hands-on knowledge will be vital for connecting with guests, offering insights, and bringing authenticity to the show.
- Communication Skills:
- Clear and effective communication is key. A radio presenter must be able to speak with clarity and fluency, particularly in IsiXhosa and English, as these are the languages that will be used on-air. It’s also essential to have excellent presentation skills that draw in listeners.
- Confidence and Charisma:
- Radio is a medium driven by personality. The ideal candidate will have confidence and charisma to engage listeners. Prior experience in radio, podcasting, or public speaking is a plus, as this will ensure the presenter feels comfortable hosting a show.
