Job Description

The successful Candidates will be afforded an opportunity to enrol in an external Unemployed (18.2 B1) Learnership programme leading to the selected qualification as a qualified Artisan.

1. Learnership Fitters x 8
2. Learnership Rigger x 4
3. Learnership Electrician x 4
4. Learnership Diesel Mechanic x 2
5. Learnership Boilermakers x 6

Qualifications

The following are the minimum entry requirements into each of the programmes

1. Minimum Entry RequirementsMatric with Mathematics (not Mathematics Literacy)
2. Physical Science and English (all with minimum 40% pass)
3. orN2 or higher with all subjects as per the specific Discipline Requirements or
4. NCV Level – 4 in appropriate trade with all subjects passed with a minimum 40% pass

Trade Test Requirements

1. A minimum of N2 Subjects/ certificate with applicable subjects for the relevant trade as specified
2. Mathematics Engineering Science
3. Relevant Trade Theory
4. Industrial Electronics, or Engineering Drawings or Plating Structural Drawings
5. NCV Level – 4 in appropriate trade with all subjects passed with a minimum 40% pass
