What Is the Non-Technical Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme?

The WIL Trainee Programme runs for 18 months and focuses on helping learners apply what they’ve studied in the classroom to real workplace situations.This is not classroom learning . It’s practical, supervised, and performance-based.

You will:

  1. Work within a department or business unit
  2. Be mentored by experienced professionals
  3. Complete tasks that contribute to real projects
  4. Develop workplace-ready skills that employers value
  5. For many TVET students, this programme is also essential for:Completing logbook requirements
  6. Qualifying for a National N Diploma

Minimum Requirements – Who Can Apply?

  1. You must meet ALL of the following to be considered:Basic Eligibility
  2. South African citizen
  3. Aged between 18 and 35
  4. No existing bursary obligation with another company

  1. Academic Requirements

  1. Matric CertificateN6 qualification in:Public Relations
  2. Communications
  3. Journalism
  4. Or another related non-technical field

Required Supporting Documents

  1. You must submit:Certified copy of Matric Certificate
  2. Certified Academic Record
  3. Certified copy of South African IDTVET College Experiential Learning Letter
  4. Incomplete applications are usually disqualified , so double-check everything.
