Storekeeper Job Vacancy At Tsebo-Permanent Contract For People With Matric

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Administer the ordering of all food, resale and beverage items
2. Operate as part of a team with good interpersonal skills
3. Receive all the stock from the suppliers according to Fedics policies & procedures
4. Issuing of all stock in the fridges, freezers, dry store & chemical store as per company spec with regards to portion size / quantity and in specified times
5. Ensuring costing of stock/meals & functions is done timely, accurately & on a daily basis
6. Receive all invoices on a daily basis on My Market
7. Conduct stock takes weekly
8. Maintaining high quality hygiene as per Fedics standards
9. Plan for consecutive days to make sure all stock is available and report unavailability of stock
10. Ensure that all the storerooms, fridges and freezers are cleaned and all products are stacked and date marked correctly at all times
11. Manage all wastage and leftovers
12. Do proper handovers when necessary
13. Build and maintain supplier and client relationships
14. Maintain the safe keeping and protecting of all products & equipment in store room
15. To report and where possible, take action about customer complaints and compliments
16. To relieve in this and other local units from time to time as well as carry out any reasonable request by management
17. Ensure stock rotation is in place
18. Report on product quality
19. Operate with set store times
20. May be required to assist with any other duties that may be outside scope of responsibility

Qualifications

1. Matric
2. Proven costing & stock control/store keeping experience – advantageous
3. At least 2 year’s working experience
4. My Market
5. Previous experience working in a healthcare background would be advantageous
