The Office of the Premier in Free State Province invites 25 unemployed graduates to apply for its
Graduate Internship Programme 2025 , designed to provide 24 months of practical training across the province’s district municipalities.

Internship Application Closing Date: 10 October 2025
Internship Duration: 24 Months
Internship Location: Lejweleputswa, Thabo Mofutsanyane, Fezile Dabi, and Xhariep Districts – Free State Province
Stipend: Paid according to the revised Directive on Developmental Programmes in the Public Service

This exciting initiative welcomes graduates with
National Diplomas, Degrees, or BTech qualifications in various engineering and planning fields. Interns will gain on-the-job development training in technical, professional, public service, and life skills—preparing them for careers in the formal job market while contributing to improved service delivery in the Free State.

Fields of Study for Graduate Interns
Applicants should possess qualifications in one of the following fields:

1. Civil Engineering
2. Civil Engineering – Project Management
3. Hydrology and Water Resources Engineering
4. Environmental Water Management / Environmental Engineering
5. Quantity Surveying (Water Management / Environmental focus)
6. Urban and Rural Planning / Town and Regional Planning
7. General Engineering Studies
