If you’re between the ages of 18 and 34, with a Matric certificate and eager to work in the energy sector, this is your chance!
About the Eskom YES Youth Employment Programme 2026
The YES Programme is a collaborative effort between government and business, launched by the Presidency to address South Africa’s youth unemployment crisis. Through this initiative, Eskom provides eligible youth with 12 months of paid workplace experience across its various departments and power stations countrywide.

12 Months (Fixed-Term)
Locations:
Eskom sites across all provinces of South Africa
Who Can Apply?
- Must be a South African citizen
- Age: 18 to 34 years
- Minimum qualification: Grade 12 / Matric
- Post-matric qualifications are an advantage but not required
Applicants Must Not:
- Have been permanently employed for more than one year
- Be enrolled in full-time studies during 2026
- Have participated in any previous YES Programme
