Makana Municipality: EPWP Youth Job Opportunities Available

The Makana Local Municipality invites suitably qualified unemployed youth graduates to apply for the EPWP Youth Graduates Programme, a six (6) months fixed-term contract opportunity based in Makhanda, Alicedale and Riebeek East.

Minimum Requirements

1. Applicants must meet ALL of the following requirements
2. A recognised Degree or Diploma in one of the following fields:
3. Environmental Management / Environmental Science
4. Occupational Health and Safety
5. Financial Management
6. Human Resources Management
7. Public AdministrationOr an equivalent qualification
8. Knowledge of environmental legislation , with a focus on local government
9. Understanding of local government and its relationship with national and provincial spheres
10. South African citizen with a valid South African ID
11. Under the age of 35 years
12. Medically fit.
