Requirements for Applicants
To qualify for the Nasi iSpani Youth Service Programme, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be 18–33 years old
- Have completed Grade 11 or higher (relevant qualifications may be needed for certain roles)
- Hold a valid South African ID
- Reside in one of Gauteng’s five regions: Johannesburg, Tshwane, Ekurhuleni, Sedibeng, or West Rand
- Have no criminal record
- Be willing to commit to a two-year contract

- Fitting and Turning

- Finance / Human Resources Management
- Procurement / Asset Management

- A monthly stipend of R3 500 for 24 months
- Practical training guided by industry professionals
- Valuable workplace experience to secure long-term employment or start a business
- An inclusive environment, with:
- 60% of opportunities reserved for women
- 40% for men
- 2% reserved for persons with disabilities
The programme also prioritises historically disadvantaged individuals, ensuring a more inclusive and representative workforce.

The official relaunch of the Nasi iSpani Youth Service Programme will take place on:
