Position Purpose

The Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Trainee Programme aims to provide students and recent graduates with practical workplace experience, allowing them to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world environment. This programme is designed to enhance participants’ employability by offering hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to industry-specific tasks. The WIL trainee programme is conducted over a period of 18 months.

Position Outputs

  1. • Assist in specific projects within a department or work-stream.
  2. • Perform routine operational tasks under supervision.
  3. • Support administrative functions, including documentation and reporting.
  4. Learning & Development • Participate in training sessions, workshops, and mentorship programs.
  5. • Shadow experienced professionals to gain practical insights.
  6. • Engage in problem-solving activities to develop analytical skills.
  7. Communication & Collaboration • Interact with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to understand business needs.
  8. • Provide regular updates on assigned tasks and project progress.
  9. • Serve as a central contact point for queries and assistance.
  10. • Prepare reports and presentations using MS Office tools.
  11. • Assist in process improvement initiatives.
  12. Compliance & Safety • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  13. • Ensure adherence to ethical and professional standards.
  14. • Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all tasks.

Qualifications and Experience

  1. * Matric certificate/equivalent * N6 – Office Administration or N6-Business Management. •
  2. Must be a South African citizen. •
  3. Age between 18- 35. •
  4. Preference will be given to People with Disabilities. •
  5. No bursary obligation with another company. •
  6. Proof of certified Matric certificate, Academic record, ID and TVET college experiential learning letter.
