Safair Operations, operating as FlySafair has a vacancy for a Security Guard at our Head Office. The successful applicant will report to the Manager: Facilities.

Job Description
  1. Monitor and control access to and from the FlySafair facility;
  2. Ensure that only authorised personnel, vehicles, materials, company assets, and consumables are permitted to enter, move within, and leave the facility;
  3. Assist with the removal of violators from the premises when required;
  4. Stay alert for signs of criminal activity or disturbances and engage with relevant stakeholders;
  5. Report any suspicious incidents and/or activities;
  6. Patrol all facilities and perimeter as and when required;
  7. Assist with Ad Hoc duties as and when required;
  8. Conduct general searches of vehicles and valuables.
Job Requirements
  1. Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential);
  2. Security Certificate;
  3. Grade C (Essential);
  4. Willingness to work shifts, weekends and on public holidays;
  5. Basic Security knowledge;
  6. Aviation knowledge (Advantageous).
